Steven Friesen

Steven is a jiu jitsu purple belt with significant competition experience both within Manitoba and nationally. Currently an active competitor, he has fought in an impressive 50 BJJ matches and holds an 86% submission rate across these bouts. His competitive journey includes a 2-1 record in BJJ superfights. Steven brings valuable wrestling and judo experience to our gym, enriching our training environment with his diverse skill set and dedication to martial arts excellence. His novel approach to teaching and attention to detail serves to expedite student learning and progress in jiu jitsu, judo, and wrestling.
